Captain Jimmy Arcadia was assigned as an Assistant to Fire Chief Holzner and was found in cardiac arrest, in his own office next to the Chief’s. Jimmy Arcadia was born March 26, 1927 in Phoenix and is buried at the Greenwood Firefighters cemetery section near the Bell Tower, and his grave is marked with a red cross during the annual Fallen Fire Fighter Memorials each January.

Jimmy was survived by his wife, 6 children and several relatives. He served in the US Navy in World War II.
